Sleeping Shelters, Huts + Campervans

A selection of bespoke, cosy shelters, mostly hand-built from reclaimed wood can either be booked individually for a short getaway or combined with any of our main event spaces.

Please note that there is no WiFi and minimal mobile signal around much of the site.

The Lakeside Burrow at Batsford Pool

Discover the unique charm of Batsford Pool, a hidden, intimate lakeside escape, with outside seating, this accommodation for two doubles up as a unique space for a gathering of up to 8 people; perfect for sound baths and meditation practices.

Further enhancing the back-to-nature experience is the unique, seasonal Willow Shelter, complete with a bivy tent ingeniously placed within a gentle stream meander, as well as additional ground space for pitching tents, offering a truly unparalleled, immersive night under the stars.

Complete with convenient outdoor (covered) worktop, sink and running water; perfect for preparing a simple meal amidst nature.

Gypsy Vardo at Goldcrest Glade

The unique and cosy Gypsy Vardo, with a small decking area, is a touch of whimsical charm, designed only for the more vertically challenged so is suitable for people of maximum height of 5ft 2in for comfort. This quirky dewlling is suitable for 1-2 people.

Dave’s Cave and Jackie’s Bothy

Set under the canopy of our ancient woodland within ‘Twitten Dell’, these huts are at the far end of the site, ideal for a complete immersion in nature.

Dave’s Cave contains a cosy double sofa bed whereas Jackie’s Bothy has been set up for flexibility in mind, allowing you to bring your own camping mattress and bedding.

A compost toilet is situated between the two huts, and are ideally booked together. Each hut sleeps up to 2 people.

Campervans

For those with their own campervans and all the facilities they need, our site offers three power hook-ups on hard-standing, located near the entrance at The Barn, a 5-minute walk to all event spaces.

Although close to the road, it’s a small lane so sees very little through traffic.
