Meadow Camping
Set within a peaceful, open meadow, this campsite offers space for up to eight tents, surrounded by grasses, wildflowers, and plenty of room to relax. A wonderful place for families to have a weekend away in a natural space, or for a group celebrating a special weekend. The pitches are located in a wide meadow at the back of the site.
At its centre is a spacious pole barn, providing a welcoming communal hub complete with a fire pit for evening gatherings and a traditional pizza oven for rustic outdoor cooking. It’s the perfect spot to share meals, shelter from the weather, or simply unwind together.
For those seeking a more effortless stay, bell tents are available to hire, just contact us for details. The site also includes communal compost toilets and a convenient shower, blending comfort with an eco-friendly ethos.
Camp Wild
For those seeking a deeper connection with nature can experience true wild camping through the CampWild platform. CampWild is an award-winning UK network that offers access to secluded wild spaces on private land, and Furnace Brook is proud to host three of these sites, and our very own island pitch; Beaver Lodge (pictured).
Wild camping here is about simplicity, privacy and immersion in the natural world. CampWild members can book access to a wild space, giving you time to slow down, explore and fully disconnect. These pitches are intentionally low-impact and thoughtfully located, surrounded by water, woodland, and the peace of the countryside.
Our wild camping spaces are designed for people who value peace and minimal intervention. These pitches are simplistic, expect birdsong mornings, star-filled nights and the satisfaction of living simply for a while.
Booking through CampWild provides clear arrival information and guidance, while encouraging a strong “Leave No Trace” ethos that protects the land for future campers. Whether you’re an experienced wild camper or trying it for the first time, Furnace Brook offers a chance to experience nature in a peaceful and simple way.
