A Place for Research & Learning, Reconnection with the Natural World, & a Place for Creativity.

Furnace Brook is a place being brought back to life.
Eighty acres of farmland, lakes, meadows & old farm buildings are becoming a home for thriving wildlife, regenerative farming & a growing family of nature-based enterprises.

We’re here to offer simple, grounding pleasures: peaceful places to stay by the lake, space to walk & breathe, seasonal food & drink from the land, & opportunities to learn, make & grow together in the outdoors.

You are warmly invited.
Be part of the restoration for nature, for community, & for future generations.

"This is just a magical place, a completely peaceful oasis where you can just stop & breathe."

Support The Work

We are restoring the land and water at Furnace Brook, bringing back biodiversity, renewing the ecosystem & creating welcoming spaces for accommodation, learning, community gatherings & quiet reflection.

Our vision is to connect people of all ages with nature & with each other. We are partnering with local farms & schools to help children understand where their food comes from, supporting local residents to grow produce for their community & establishing a Community Gardens Network to engage older adults, isolated individuals, young people & those navigating mental health challenges.

To make this work possible, we rely on the generous support of individuals, local businesses & philanthropic partners who share our commitment to regeneration and community wellbeing.
